Exhibitions

Ngaruwanajirri artists are represented by leading private Galleries in each state. Some show the art of several individuals in group shows and others represent one or perhaps two artists. As a Centre for art we all participate in major exhibitions periodically at State Galleries and Universities as well as other events organised by large cultural bodies.

Our work is known and collected by people throughout the world.

Apart from sell out exhibitions in the many private fine art galleries representing our artists the highlights are our major survey shows over the last 20 years

We also recommend you arrange travel to the Islands to coincide with an annual Tiwi Grand Final match held on the football field at Wurumiyanga. The Art centre always participates in this celebration of Tiwi culture and life with a special exhibition sale in our magnificent Centre.
